Battle Cancer partners with the American Association for Cancer Research in the United States
Today we're super excited to announce that we have formed a new fundraising partnership with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). The AACR, the world’s first and
largest cancer research organisation, will be the sole benefiting charity partner for Battle Cancer’s 2021 U.S. tour and U.S. events.
“Battle Cancer events are designed to bring everyone together through shared experience to create a community like no other. Partnering with the AACR Foundation allows us to focus the fitness community on a common goal of ensuring that cancer is not forgotten, to ensure those affected by cancer are not alone, and, importantly, that work continues to stop the devastating effect of cancer." Says our founder, Scott Britton.

community of all abilities in the fitness community, we couldn't be more proud and driven to provide a vehicle for the AACR to showcase the incredible work of the organisation and bring fundraising and awareness all year round."
Founded in 1907, the AACR is the world’s first and largest professional organisation dedicated to advancing cancer research and its mission to prevent and cure cancer. AACR membership includes 48,000 laboratory, translational, and clinical researchers; population scientists; other health care professionals; and patient advocates residing in 127 countries.
