FUNDRAISING

Every Rep Makes an Impact

Fundraising isn’t required to enter, but it’s at the heart of what makes this event special - and the community in Dublin always shows up.

We suggest that every team of four aims to fundraise a minimum of €200.

Our official partner charities are The Battle Cancer Program and the Irish Cancer Society, but you can choose any cancer charity to support.

WHY DUBLIN?

Dublin has been one of Battle Cancer's most beloved cities from the very beginning. Ireland's fitness community is warm, committed, and extraordinarily supportive - teams fundraise seriously, the atmosphere on the floor is unmatched, and the post-event energy in the city is something you have to experience to understand.

The RDS (Royal Dublin Society) Simmonscourt is a landmark venue in Ballsbridge - one of Dublin's most prestigious event spaces, set in a part of the city that's rich in sporting history. It gives Battle Cancer Dublin the scale and setting the event deserves.

Our official charity partners are The Battle Cancer Program and the Irish Cancer Society. The event takes place on Saturday 20 March 2027, making it the perfect early-season goal for athletes who want to start the year with purpose.

WHAT MAKES DUBLIN SPECIAL

IRELAND'S BIGGEST FITNESS FUNDRAISER

Battle Cancer Dublin brings together athletes, gyms and fitness communities from across Ireland for one of the country's most inspiring charity fitness events. Year after year, Dublin teams rank among the highest fundraisers on the Battle Cancer calendar, combining competitive performance with an incredible commitment to supporting people affected by cancer.

COMPETE WITH PURPOSE

Whether you're taking on your first Battle Cancer Challenge or returning to improve your score, Battle Cancer Dublin offers a unique atmosphere where fundraising is just as important as fitness. Every rep, every metre and every donation contributes to something bigger, creating an event that brings together the best of Ireland's functional fitness community.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY

Expect a full day of competition, community and celebration. Your team will be allocated a heat time, giving you around 90 minutes from registration to completing the challenge. Enjoy the event village, cheer on other teams, meet our charity partners and soak up the atmosphere as hundreds of athletes come together for one unforgettable day of fitness and fundraising.

PLANNING FOR BATTLE CANCER DUBLIN 2027

With the event in March 2027, now is the time to register and begin building your fundraising page. Teams that start fundraising early - setting up a JustGiving page and sharing it widely - consistently raise more than teams that leave it until the final weeks.

The Challenge format for Dublin 2027 will be announced in due course. Use the time between now and the event to build a well-rounded base: strength and conditioning work, consistent cardio, and training with your team as a unit rather than just as individuals.
