"What an incredible experience! The atmosphere was electric, workouts were easy to judge and I cheered and danced all day. I can't wait to come back."
Abby - Judge
Working right in the middle of the action on the comp floor, you’ll be responsible for counting reps and ensuring standards are met. No experience necessary!
The first Battle Cancer volunteers our athletes and spectators see, this customer-facing role needs friendly, smiling people to get everybody into the venue. You’ll be checking names off lists, handing out t-shirts, and herding people in the right direction. Once registration is closed, this team becomes score runners, sit at the info desk, or join other teams.
This heavy lifting role is a workout in itself! A vital job for our comps, you’ll be working to ensure each lane has exactly the right equipment it needs for the workout to happen.
An essential role in the timely running of our events, athlete control ensures the right teams are warmed up and ready to hit the comp floor in time for their heat. You'll need a loud voice and excellent time-keeping skills.
Do you have a special skill that we haven’t thought of? Get in touch and let us know!

WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll send you information about your chosen role before event day so you know what to expect.
Judges will be fully briefed online beforehand with a quick recap in the morning of the event.
We love it when volunteers help for the full day (normally 7:30-17:30 with breaks) but we offer morning and afternoon shifts as well if you're not able to commit to the full day.
You can select all your preferences as well as dietary requirements and additional comments on our registration forms for each event.
