ABOUT BATTLE CANCER
Our Story
After a number of small-scale fundraising events in 2015-2016, Battle Cancer was born in 2017 with its first competition held in Manchester, UK. Founded by Scott Britton, the team now encompasses upwards of 50 core members, organisers, volunteers and brand partners.
Two UK competitions followed in 2018, while 2019 saw the Battle Cancer movement grow into six events across Europe plus a Battle Tour of LA. To date, we've raised over £900,000 for almost 40 cancer charities worldwide helped by nearly 20,000 athletes.

Our movement brings together a lethal combination of some of the world’s leading professional athletes, industry influencers, global cancer charities, and the flourishing functional fitness crowd from all corners of the globe.

We are in eight countries and growing, with the aim of taking our movement far and wide. Buoyed by the waves of support we’ve received since launching Battle Cancer, we’ve set our sights even higher to raise even more money for cancer charities worldwide. We want to build further awareness of the incredible work our community is achieving and foster the passion, drive, blood, sweat and tears of our competitors and fundraisers.

In 2020 we launched fundraising for the Battle Cancer Program - free training programs that turn cancer survivors into fitness coaches, as well as running Berlin and UK City Leagues in place of our events postponed by COVID.

Now in 2021, we're launching a free online version of our Battle Cancer Program for those post-cancer, with in-gym programs to come across the UK and US.

More cities, more events, and more support services for cancer survivors and their families are in the pipeline. Watch this space!
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to inspire, support and unite people with one goal: kicking cancer into the dust.
We want to drive a movement that helps those affected by cancer, to inspire them in their darkest moments and support them in recovery.
Our work is threefold and aims to:

Raise awareness and funds for cancer charities by delivering epic fundraising events
Connect a supportive community of likeminded people through the sharing of stories and experiences
Promote health and wellbeing as a preventative to illness
Together we will battle cancer, and together we will win.
