THE BATTLE CANCER CHALLENGE

OUR 90-MINUTE FITNESS CHALLENGE REBUILT FOR 2026

Your team of four will take on three high-intensity zones - Endurance, Burn, and Power - moving through nine stations in a simple, brutal, and brilliantly fun format:

5 minutes max reps → 4 minutes rest → move to the next station.

This is our most exciting challenge yet: fast transitions, high output, teamwork at every turn, and purpose behind every rep.

MOVEMENT DESCRIPTIONS & STANDARDS

Download the full PDF for detailed movement standards, weights, synchro rules, and scoring requirements for both divisions - including everything you need to prepare confidently.

Please note: Movements or station order may vary slightly by event to ensure the best athlete experience. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

Divisions

Battle Cancer has two divisions so you can compete at your level.

Challenge Division

Our standard division.

Intense, inclusive, and built so teams of all experience levels can take part. Teams can modify movements where needed. Perfect for those looking to push themselves, work as a team, and have fun.

Compete Division

A level up.

Heavier weights, stricter standards, and no movement modifications. Best suited to teams with experience in functional fitness who want to test performance under pressure.

Team Format

All teams consist of four athletes — male, female, or mixed. Mixed teams can be any combination: 2:2 or 1:3

Movement Videos

Watch short demo videos for every station to learn how to perform each movement and understand the standards before event day.

Scoring at Battle Cancer

All teams self-score during the Challenge, with oversight from our floor crew to ensure accuracy, fairness, and flow.

To keep things consistent, we’ve created a clear scoring guide explaining:

  • How self-scoring works

  • What counts as a valid rep

  • How synchro standards differ by division

  • How scores are calculated per station and overall

Coach's Pass

Teams may bring a Coach onto the competition floor.
Your coach can help with rep counting, movement standards, and pace management — keeping your team on track throughout the Challenge.

For full Coach’s Pass rules and how to register your coach, check the Scoring Process Guide above.
