What we're doing to keep you safe

We are constantly listening to government advice and working with our venues to ensure Battle Cancer events comply with social distancing restrictions and requirements.

In the event that we are unable to safely deliver an event, we will postpone to 2021. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds for postponed events, but all tickets will be honoured in 2021.

Read on to discover the measures we're putting in place. Exact social distancing lengths and face-covering requirements will be country and date-specific -athletes will be updated nearer to their event.

Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds for postponed events but you won't lose your ticket! We're doing everything we can to ensure our events run safely but in the event of postponement, you will be contacted by email.

If your event is postponed, your ticket will automatically be carried over to the same event later in the year or in 2021.

You don't need to do anything. Once we have a confirmed date, you'll receive a new confirmation.

Your team will automatically be entered into a monthly raffle for the rest of 2020 with the chance to win prizes from the likes of NOCCO, WIT, Hyperice, Myprotein and more.

You don't need to do anything, we'll contact you by email if you win!

We're offering the chance for you to swap to another Battle Cancer event in 2021 if you're unable to make the postponed date for any reason.

Just email us to make the swap!

We're working with our venues to meet government restrictions while staying true to the Battle Cancer experience

Digital Registration

All teams will register digitally the day before to minimise queues into the venue on event day. Your captain will be able to collect your team's wrist bands, booklet and temporary tattoos on the day.

Hand Sanitiser in Lanes

Hand sanitiser will be placed in every lane as well as around the venue. We ask that you sanitise your hands before and after each work out.

Athlete and Judge Bubbles

Your team will be assigned a colour. Your colour will give you a specific heat, athlete chill-out area and team of judges so that the people you're mixing with is kept to a minimum. You'll still be able to interact with vendor stands and charities which will have distancing measures in place.

Social Distancing

We ask that you keep the required distance from other athletes and volunteers at all times. Lanes will be made bigger so that your team can work out together without touching - we've removed all high fives, partner carries and close proximity movements. We won't ask you to sign your score sheet.

Strict Cleaning

All equipment will be sprayed and wiped between heats with a deep clean at lunch time. Our venues will also be cleaning areas constantly throughout the day.

Bodyweight Warm-Ups

Instead of a communal warm-up area, we'll give you bodyweight warm-ups for your team to do in your own time. They will be specifically programmed for each workout to target the muscle groups you're about to use!

Digital Workout Briefs

Workout briefs and video run-throughs will be made available online on YouTube and Instagram TV for your team to watch. You can ask any questions by writing a comment and our team will get back to you. There will be no live workout briefs on the day.

Restricted Attendees

We'll be limiting tickets to ensure venues do not become overcrowded. Spectators will not be allowed unless restrictions are eased - this will be communicated nearer the time on an event by event basis. Get your ticket before they sell out!

Face Coverings Where Needed

Face coverings will only be needed in countries with specific requirements but you are welcome to wear them at any Battle Cancer event.
